Kerala Blasters Centre Back Marko Leskovic has signed a contract extension with Kerala Blasters.The Croatian international has made a substantial impact since joining the Indian Super League outlet.
The 30 year old Defender has made seamless transition to Indian football after his stints in Dynamo Zagreb, and has made immediate impact on the club’s once shallow defence. The Croatian player has stitched together a solid partnership with Ruiva Hormipam, a 20 year old Indian Centre Back. Together, they were able to stitch together 5 clean sheets, a notable achievement when viewed in the light of last season.
Leskovic started in 18 matches for the blasters emerging as one of the best defenders in the league after the season.
