For Kerala, Kerala’s Uruguan midfirlder, Adrian Luna (18) opened the scoring for the blasters after Jamshedpur midfielders were caught red handed after they gave space to Luna who drive one into the bottom right corner which ended up in the back of the net .Both the sides made their intentions clear with Jamshedpur eager to score, with their high press while it was Kerala that created clear cut chances. Kerala’s Alvaro Vasquez found himself one on one with TP Rehenesh on several occasions, but failed to multiply the lead. Jamshedpur on the other hand scored Pronoy Halder(50) tapped one home after Chima Chuckwu flicked another Greg Stewart free-kick which fell for Pronoy. The goal was awarded for Jamshedpur, even though the visuals afterwards indicated that the ball bounced over the hands of Pronoy, before he could tap it into the back of the net. Gritty and disciplined Kerala Blasters later ensured no further damage as Jamshedpur was restricted to set pieces.
With that win, Ivan’s ,men cruised on to the finals, where they would face either Hyderabad or ATK Mohun Bagan after six long years.
