A Gem, from yellow to Orange | Alvaro vazquez set to join FC Goa

KBFC had been one of the best teams last year. Undoubtedly the whole team performed really well to get into finals, though they lost in penalty shoot out. Foreigners played an outstanding part for them, playing one better than the other. They made combinations and competition between them made Kerala Blasters challenging for the tittle. They shown the quality which made every ISL viewers to remember their name especially Luna, Leskovic, Diaz and Vazquez.

Latest updates showing that Alvaro Vazquez is about to leave the club. He has been signed by FC Goa. He was rumoured to be interested by many club even outside India. He is now just 31 and expected to continue or be better than last season. The striker  netted 8 and assisted for 2 last season. He will be joining them soon Gaurs.

Manjappada was delighted when Vazquez signed for KBFC. Now they would be unhappy to accept this news. He had some serious display of game. He is a pack with excellent footwork, passing and dribbling. He  made dangers with his runs and clever mind. He is not only dangerous inside the box but also from outside, you can feel it in the match against North East United FC. His long ranger is still holding the record of most distant goal in ISL which was one of the best moments of ISL. He is a lovely playmaker who passes the ball to teammates rather than finishing by himself always. Though his positioning and finishing is not the best sometimes, he made some serious troubles to opponents by reading through balls and receiving aerial balls. His combinations with Luna and Diaz were exceptional and saw some quality passing skills between them.

Kerala Blasters and Manjappada will surely miss him, but their sporting director Karolis Skinkis promised to bring  a more capable player to replace him. Let's wait and see will he be a replaceable one!!
