Last year Goan boy who had a serious impact on tittle winning campaign for Gokulam Kerala FC had joined Kerala Blasters. KBFC and coach Ivan Vukumanovic had a serious faith on him. His name is Vincy Baretto, the lightening lad.
Vincy Baretto is a potential player for India. He is a right winger who got speedy legs he is now just 22. He has good technique and movement. He has also finished 90 mins on the pitch few times despite he is a winger. He is very useful in counter attack. His main weakness are strength, balance and can loose the ball while facing a high strength defenders. He has got 2 goal to his name in ISL and had a wonderful campaign in ISL development league. But now he is leaving the club. His new club is Chennaiyin FC, they are ready to pay transfer fee for him as he got contract with KBFC till 31 May 2024.
It was a sad news for KBFC fans to leave him because everyone was satisfied and hoped he could improve in future. But this decision is said to be favour for both him and KBFC. KBFC has got some new really good reserve players and Vincy Baretto could get proper opportunities for his development. KBFC is delighted to grant him better opportunity. Hope KBFC could replace him and have a better season.
