ATK Mohun Bagan signs Florentin Pogba as their new center back . The 31 years old is signed as the replacement of their spanish center back Tiri .Florentin Pogba is brother of Paul Pogba who recently signed for Juventus.
The Guinean international joined the Mariners from Ligue 2 team, FC Sochaux-Montbeliard, where he had made 63 appearances. He has also played for St-Etienne previously, which will play in Ligue 2 this year after getting relegated last season.
This is the second major signing for ATKMB ahead of the AFC Cup 2022 inter-zone play-off semi-finals in September. On Thursday, ATK Mohun Bagan had announced the signing of 29-year-old central defender Brendan Hamill, who played for Australian A-League side Melbourne Victory, on a two-year deal. Indian midfielder Ashique Kuruniyan from Bengaluru FC also signed up for ATK Mohun Bagan on a five-year deal earlier this month.
