ISL winner Roy Krishna joined Bengaluru FC

Bengaluru FC signed ATK Mohun Bagan goalscoring machine Roy Krishna on a 1+1 deal.The Fijian striker had offers from India and Australia,from India he had offers from several ISL clubs Kerala Blasters,East Bengal, Northeast United and Bengaluru FC.


The 34 year old after playing three seasons in India in 60 matches he have scored 36 goals and have 18 assists and also he is placed 4th in all time ISL top scorers list.

Roy has also played for Fiji national team in 45 games he had scored 31 goals.For Fiji U20 and U23 team in 14 matches he had scored 8 goals.

Krishna joined the  New Zealand Football Championship (NZFC) side Waikatakere United from Fijian local outfit Labasa FC in January 2008.

In May 2008, he spent two weeks training with the  Wellington Pheonix but was not offered a contract.

In March 2009, it was reported that PSV was interested in signing him. However he said professional football in New Zealand with the Phoenix was his preferred option because he was not ready to move to Europe as he was still learning English and was not ready for another language.
