 It has been a tough couple of weeks for the whole Indian football community, who saw their country getting banned from FIFA, but the fans from Malabar can force a smile in their misery as top-tier Kerala Football is back in the country. Kerala Blasters will lock horns with Sudeva Delhi, from the I league II in the 131st edition of the Durand cup. Blasters are coming on the back of their Next Gen cup campaign, where they faced the development sides of England's top division clubs. As for Sudeva, their last official match was 4 months ago, where they lost 3 - 1 to Aizwal FC on I league relegation stage matches. For the Blasters, Sachin Suresh is expected to be in goal, while both the fullbacks, Aritra Das and Mohammed Basith are expected to start, both of them, having shown enormous confidence while carrying the ball at England. Vibin Mohanan, the 19-year-old is coming on the back of a successful SAFF U20 championship with the national team. Ebindas Yesudasan, the 17-year-old who was scouted from LIFA, Muhammed Aimen, Roshan Gigi, and Mohammed Azhar are some of the players to be noted, for the Blasters. 

The match is scheduled to be kicked off at 6 PM, from the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati. The match will be streamed at Voot, Sports18 and Jio TV.
